Customize DiSC Training with the Classic DVD
The DiSC Classic DVD is menu-driven and offers four sections of hands-on, real-life workplace scenarios.
- Pure DiSC Styles in Action
- DiSC Styles During an Interactive Meeting
- Effective Communication During an HR Interview Process
- Natural Styles of Communication
The Pure Styles segment includes four characters representing the purest form of each of the four DiSC styles. Each character is shown in five separate segments, in which the characters describe themselves (and ultimately their styles) by giving a general overview of their behavior and describing four basic aspects of themselves.
Five Segments of Pure Styles:
- Preferred Environment
- Conflict Situations
DiSC Styles During an Interactive Meeting
This section consists of six independent scenes highlighting a team in conflict, a manager meeting with individual team members to work through the conflict, and a more effective team meeting as a result of understanding DiSC styles. The real-life workplace scenarios is extremely helpful for both managers and team members to help them recognize style differences and how to shift behaviors to more effectively communicate with each style.
Effective Communication During an HR Interview Process
A Human Resources Manager is highlighted recruiting four sales for a newly formed division. Each candidate represents one of the DiSC styles. Demonstrating both ineffective and effective interactions, participants will see the DiSC styles in action and learn how to shift communication styles to the needs of individuals.
Natural Styles of Communication
This section illustrates the complexity of the styles as they appear in the real workplace. It allows participants to fully understand and appreciate the subtlety of behavior and human interactions. Characters representing each of the four DiSC styles will provide informal responses to eight questions that describe how they interact and relate in the workplace.
