EQ Coaching Session One Hour

The EQi-2.0 provides a wealth of feedback that helps learners navigate through five specific composite areas and fifteen subscales.  This customized debrief includes:

• Analysis of your personal EQ results
• Understanding of how to effectively work through the EQ model.  Composite and subscale areas are inter-related and build upon one another.  An in-depth understanding of this process creates your personalized foundation of development.
• Identification of 2-3 initial opportunity areas.
• Specific communication strategies to put into action for each opportunity area. 

What's the difference between traditional Communication Assessments and the EQi-2.0?

Communication assessments measure personal preferences - where you get your energy and how you like to engage in life.  They are extremely helpful in understanding your personal style and to how to leverage strengths while managing opportunities to increase communication effectiveness.  Your communication preference does not change over time.  It might move slightly over the course of your career, but changes are not significant.

The EQi-2.0 is a measure of emotional intelligence at a specific point of time.  Learners are able to increase scores as their level of personal and social awareness increases.  The EQ composite and subscales are the underlying behaviors beyond communication style that are driven by emotion. Personal scores will and should shift over time with continued personal development.

Ideally, an individual will complete a traditional communication assessment along with the EQi-2.0.  Understanding personal communication style preferences is insightful and meaningful and will augment the EQ Coaching process.  Recommended communication style assessments include:  Everything DiSC Workplace, MBTI Step II Interpretative, Team Management Profile, and Emergenetics.
